World's Rarest
ALES
Stonegarden 🇦🇺
Single Origin Ale Dutton
2024
Crafted by fifth-generation Barossan winemaker Ben Radford, this terroir-driven ale is brewed solely from barley grown in the northeastern corner of the Barossa Valley, in Mallee Country, where ancient deep loam over red clay meets some of Australia's lowest rainfall. It's a soil-to-glass expression that captures 200 million years of geological history.
This dark golden, broody ale is burnished and muscular. Aromas of toasted almond, star anise, and molasses give way to a rich, mouth-filling palate of sweet bread dough, burned caramel, dark chocolate, and dried orange zest.
This limited-release ale is designed for those who seek nuance, for the curious, the collectors, and anyone who cares where things come from. Pour it into a white wine glass and let the aromatics shine.

MadFritz Saison Ale 🇺🇸
Nappa Valley
2024
Mad Fritz has built something genuinely special here, a living solera system they call "the Goose that lays golden beer." It's not marketing speak; it's an accurate description of how this beer works.
They start with a Golden Ale fermented with Belgian yeast, then introduce Brettanomyces cultures into 500L Puncheon barrels for 3 to 8 months. The Brett completely rewrites the beer's character—wild, earthy, vinous. When they bottle, they top up the barrels with fresh un-Bretted ale, creating a perpetual system where each batch carries forward the complexity of everything that came before it.
This is funk-driven, complex, and mysteriously delicious. At 9.6% ABV with slightly more bitterness than previous releases, it's vinous enough that wine lovers will recognize the ambition, even if some find the barnyard character intimidating.
This is beer that rewards patience and curiosity. Not for everyone, but for those who get it, it's remarkable.

The Nine Tailed Fox 🇯🇵
Vintage Ale
2015
Named after the legendary nine-tailed kitsune of Japanese folklore, this beer reveals nine distinct layers of flavor with every sip, each tail more mysterious than the last.
Brewed in the misty highlands of Nasu, this deep amber ale showcases rich toffee and caramelized malt sweetness balanced by a clean rice-like crispness. Discover notes of toasted nuts, dried persimmon, subtle umami, and gentle herbal hops, all carried by a smooth medium body and fine carbonation. The finish is clean and dry with lingering sweetness, inviting you back for more.
Like the mythical fox itself, this beer is both familiar and enigmatic, a masterful Japanese interpretation that honors tradition while creating something entirely its own.
